us plan programs and create new ways in which to serve our
members.
In order to help maintain the momentum around
your district’s wellness policy, Massachusetts
Action for Healthy Kids School Nutrition
Subcommittee has created Taking Action for Healthy
Kids: School Wellness Policy Guides. These
easy-to-read tri-fold brochures include seven
variations targeting the following audiences:
School Administrators
School Nutrition and Food Service Directors
School Nurses
Physical Education Instructors and Coaches
Teachers
Students
Parents
In addition to a general wellness policy overview,
each brochure highlights the following areas:

audience can use to support a healthy school
environment

audience
● Information on competitive foods and the A-List
Massachusetts Action for Healthy Kids School
