We’re proud to work with our Industry partners to find new ways to address trends, improve products and enhance service. The Industry Council meets regularly to help us plan programs and create new ways in which to serve our members.

In order to help maintain the momentum around your district’s wellness policy, Massachusetts Action for Healthy Kids School Nutrition Subcommittee has created Taking Action for Healthy Kids: School Wellness Policy Guides. These easy-to-read tri-fold brochures include seven variations targeting the following audiences:

    School Administrators
School Nutrition and Food Service Directors
    School Nurses
    Physical Education Instructors and Coaches
    Teachers
    Students
    Parents

In addition to a general wellness policy overview, each brochure highlights the following areas:

Action steps each audience can use to support a healthy school environment
Resources for each audience
Information on competitive foods and the A-List

Massachusetts Action for Healthy Kids School Nutrition Subcommittee members thank you for continuing to improve school nutrition and student wellness in your community.

Sincerely,

Lisa Burnett, RD, LDN, SNS and Sheila Parisien, SNS – Co-chairs
