Professional Standards Meeting
On March 13-14, 2012 there was a meeting regarding
Section 306 of HHFKA. (Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act.) It
involved approximately 65 individuals from across the
nation, representing State Agencies, district and
school-level child nutrition professionals, food
industry, government agencies and numerous associations.

of the taskforce. This is for informational purposes
only. USDA will be following up with sub-group meetings
via conference call to further solidify the proposed
standards and criteria.
